Support & Funding¶
Illinois Chat is developed by the Center for AI Innovation (CAII) at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA), University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Its development and the hosted site at chat.illinois.edu are made possible by the organizations below, among others.
Illinois Computes¶
Illinois Computes is a University of Illinois program that gives researchers in every discipline no-cost access to computing and storage resources, consultations, and staff expertise.
Illinois Chat is one of the Illinois-built LLM services supported through Illinois Computes, alongside Lumen, LLM Hub, and LLMFlux. Like other Illinois Computes resources, it is free to use. The Which LLM service is right for you? guide compares the four services and helps you pick the one that fits your work.
